Built to satisfy anglers engaging in the increasingly popular Bait Finesse System (or BFS) approach to ultra-light finesse fishing, Dobyns Sierra Ultra Finesse Casting Rods are 1-piece ultralight baitcasting rods. To engineer this line-up, Dobyns re-created their rod to be ultrathin and have incredibly responsive Light power ratings perfect for throwing the super lightweight baits and lures used in BFS fishing for species like bass, trout, and panfish.

The Sierra Ultra Finesse blanks are made with the same high modulus graphite as the standard Sierra Spinning Rods and feature solid carbon tip sections. The rods' Fuji Micro line guides are attached with Kevlar wrapping for unmatched durability and line management capabilities. For comfort and ease-of-use, the rods have Fuji reel seats and Portuguese Cork split grips.
